چکیده

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the antibacterial effects two liquid fluoride materials on Streptococcus mutans (S. mutans). Riva star aqua™ (SDI, Bayswater, Australia), which consists silver (AgF, step 1) and potassium iodide (KI, 2), Fluor protector® (FP; Ivoclar Vivadent, Liechtenstein) were used for experimental groups. Experimental groups divided into 4 : AgF, KI, AgF + KI FP. For positive control (PC) group, ampicillin was used, negative group (NC) did not receive any additional treatment. Each 30 50 µL by volume applied flat-coated S. mutans. diameter zone inhibition measured. PC showed larger diameters than other (p < 0.05), no significant difference from in > 0.05). FP = 0.009). show NC comparable mutans, better
